Lost Teeth Can Impact Your Daily Life—Dental Implants Bring Back Your Smile and Confidence

At Glenhaven Dental, we understand how missing teeth can affect your ability to chew, speak, and smile confidently. Our advanced dental implants are designed to provide a permanent, secure solution that feels just like your natural teeth.

Dentures Can Slip and Cause Discomfort—Implants Stay Secure

If you’re tired of dentures slipping or causing irritation, dental implants offer a stable, comfortable alternative. Fixed directly into your jaw, implants won’t shift or move, giving you the confidence to enjoy your favourite foods and speak without worry.

Bone Loss Weakens Your Jaw—Implants Help Preserve Your Bone Structure

When teeth are missing, the jawbone starts to weaken over time. Dental implants mimic the function of natural tooth roots, stimulating the bone and preventing deterioration. This helps maintain the integrity of your facial structure, keeping your smile strong for years to come.

Frequently Asked Questions

How soon can I return to work after getting Dental Implants?

Most patients can return to work within 1-2 days after the procedure, depending on the complexity and their recovery.

Can Dental Implants fail?

Though rare, implant failure can occur due to factors like poor oral hygiene, smoking, or insufficient bone. Regular check-ups help prevent this.

What if I am missing all my teeth?

For full-arch restoration, treatments like All-on-4 or All-on-6 implants can replace all missing teeth with fewer Implants.

How do Dental Implants improve jaw health?

Dental Implants stimulate the jawbone, preventing bone loss and preserving facial structure, unlike dentures that do not support bone health.

Can I get dental implants with diabetes?

Yes, but it's important for diabetic patients to have well-controlled blood sugar levels to reduce risks of complications.

How long does the Implant surgery take?

Implant surgery can take 1-2 hours depending on the number of Implants and whether additional procedures, like bone grafting, are required.

What materials are Dental Implants made from?

Dental Implants are primarily made from titanium or zirconia, both biocompatible materials that integrate well with the jawbone.

Can I get Dental Implants if I have gum disease?

Gum disease needs to be treated before Dental Implant placement, as healthy gums are essential for a successful Implant.

Are there age restrictions for Dental Implants?

There is no upper age limit for Dental Implants. As long as you're in good general health and have adequate bone density, you can be a candidate.

What happens if my Implant loosens?

If an Implant becomes loose, you should contact your Dentist immediately. In many cases, adjustments can be made, or the Implant can be replaced if necessary.

Dental Implants

A Long Lasting Solution

A dental implant is a small titanium screw that is placed in the upper or lower jawbone. The implant acts as a root to support crowns, bridges, or dentures to replace one or more missing teeth. With routine check ups and home care instructions as advised by your dentist, implants should last many years.

The success rate is 95% in a healthy person. Should an implant fail to integrate, we will replace it at no extra cost.
